After UK carriers rolled back the prices of the iPhone a couple of days ago, they are now completely out.
Carphone Warehouse has confirmed that it has completely depleted its stock of 8GB iPhones. This comes as no shock after they started selling the gadget for £100.
A spokesperson for Carphone Warehouse has these to say.
"Our price promotion has given many more of our customers the opportunity to enjoy the iPhone experience."
"Due to this unprecedented demand we have now sold out of the 8GB iPhone and we're currently reviewing the stock situation."
*In the meantime, customers can still purchase the 16GB iPhone at the standard price at The Carphone Warehouse."
It is still uncertain whether or not they will restock but with the announcement of the upcoming 3G iPhone that will soon be hitting the market, restocking looks dire.
Meanwhile, O2 says that they have also sold out their online stock and there are only a few more left in their stores. They too are also thinking of restocking.
