Google is at it again.
It's funny how Google reminds us of certain dates when something significant in human history has happened. A simple change in Google's logo on their homepage puts certain historic events back in the headlines.
Today is the 55th anniversary of the first successful ascent to Mount Everest. In 1953, Sir E. Hilary and his sherpa guide Tenzing Norgay etched their names in in the history books as the first men to stand on top of the world, the world's highest peak, Mount Everest.
